model, date of manufacture, unknown. Advertising the Rheingold
beer and ale brand. The brewery brewed their last Rheingold in
1963 and, following stiff competition from the national brands,
closed its landmark Bushwick Brewery, Brooklyn, in 1976. In 1998
the Rheingold Brewing Company opened under a Liebman descendant
and continues today (2007). The model was acquired for the web
collection - March 2007. |
