Ulrich Models

An HO-scale white metal kit of a Schlitz truck. The kit is supplied partially-built (the trailer is already painted and fitted with Schlitz logos). All parts are still sealed in their original plastic bags and it comes with instruction sheet and decals. The box artwork is incorrect as the model is actually of a forward-control (COE - cab over engine) type truck and not a Normal control (Semi) truck. A browse of Ulrich's website reveals they never actually made any semi-truck models. Exact date of this kit is unknown however the instruction sheet is shows 12/71 and the decal instruction sheet is marked 'Copyright 1971'. Acquired for the web collection - February 2010.

Logo on the roof of the trailer says "Celebrating 125 Years of Excellence" and printed in gold-coloured ink on the bottom of the trailer is "125th Anniversary Limited Edition 1 of 1000 produced for Straub Brewery Inc. 1997". The Mack semi-truck is in the colours of "ERICH Rental, St. Mary's". Acquired for this collection - January 2004.
